The Filmanthropist Project sprung from the deep-seated belief that the world is in reality a much kinder, more compassionate place than the pictures They show us. Despite what the Tube sells us day in and out, good people are forever working around the clock to improve their communities and leave this world a little better than they found it. This non-profit film project invites filmmakers of all skill levels to go out and create engaging stories, documenting these philanthropic events in action. 2012 will be the fourth Filmanthropist Project. Three years of films are available for streaming in the site’s archives here.

Jesse is Founder and Executive Director of the Filmanthropist Project and has hopes of expanding it beyond it’s home base of Minnesota in the coming years.
